You got your new cool and amazing iPad and the only thing that is missing is an iPad guide or iPad tutorial that will help you understand this beast and control its endless possibilities…
The bad news are there is no official iPad tutorial or iPad user guide out there, at least nothing better than how to turn on and off this cutie. But, I have found an iPad tutorial video that teaches you all you need to know!
Why I fell in love with the iPad video lessons? The videos. And of course thanks to the videos! I just can’t believe there is no official iPad video tutorial and that someone else had to create video guide for iPad…
Click here to checkout the only video tutorial guide for iPad (iPad 1.0 and iPad2.0).
No need to read endless boring pages, no need to follow written instructions, just to watch exactly how its done on these simple & easy to follow videos. That was a life saver. Simple, clear and demonstrated iPad tutorial videos, that was all I wanted and what I got.
Don’t get me wrong, there are other very popular ipad guides out there, they are not bad at all, but who has the patience and will to read through it? Well, me, I did it and I learnt a lot, honestly. But, I did it cause I didn’t know I can find it all on videos and better.
Now, some would prefer reading rather watching and I can get it, and if that is the case go ahead and grab one of those manuals you will learn how to use your iPad, these guides are not bad they are just too… written for me ![]()
iPad 2 (and ipad 1) are ingenious, but why there is no official “step-by-step” guide for it?
I have a theory, I believe genious creators are so consumed in their creation they forget not all are like them. Now, don’t get me wrong. One of the most amazing things about the iPad series is their user experience, generally it is an easy going device, BUT an ipad guide could help:
1. Older people who are not technology savvy get a hang of the basic stuff faster
2. Help in general non-tech people to learn how to use the more advances features of the ipad 2 (and ipad 1)
3. Teach the ins and outs, all those little “tips & tricks” most people will never know…
As I see it, you have only few choices:
1. Take your time, use it as the basic manual instruct, read the Internet and slowly discover more and more features with some trial and errors games and of course with the help from friends with iPad.
2. Find a good iPad guide (as I mentioned above) that will teach you 80% (or even more) of what you need to know.
Btw, there is always an alternative solution to learning how to use the iPad and its blending it, if you can’t fight it blend it (thats of course just my poor humor…):
Don’t try it at home^^^^
How to use iPad 2.0
Well, both iPads are very similar in functionality so if you have iPad 1.0 and know how to use iPad 1.0, using iPad 2.0 will be a piece of cake for you, but if you have been using only the most basic options in your iPad you should go through a guide, cause you are probably using something like 10% of your iPad abilities.
Which brings me to the next question:
Why should I learn how to use my iPad 2 (or iPad 1 for that matter) and “waste” my time on an iPad tutorial or iPad guide book?
Well, the iPad (not to mention iPad2) is much much more than a browser it has endless capabilities, enhanced by countless apps that are written to it all the time, even its creators couldn’t anticipate what it can do and how far private developers will go with it.
So, you have like a super computer in your hands and you are using only a fraction of its abilities, shame, isn’t it?
But, learning how to use my iPad would be too complicated wouldn’t it?
Well, no one needs to learn everything (although I like to know as much as I can on gadgets I buy), but there is a difference between knowing all your iPad options and knowing almost nothing about how to operate it. I heard about people running to the support centers just to find out a click would solve a specific problem they thought they have.
That is why an iPad tutorial is so important – to learn the basic stuff and for those who want to learn the advanced and a bit more advanced cool things the iPad can do.
You decide how deep you want to go into learning how to use your iPad in the best way, but most likely you don’t even realise what wonderful things it can do for you! So, you put the money and got this super high tech piece of geniusy, don’t insult it and make it only a browser ![]()
You have no excuses, after reading this you can say there is no proper iPad tutorial or iPad guide, you can learn how to use iPad in minutes!
I can’t finish any post about Apple(c) related topics without mentioning the man behind it – Steve Jobs and his fascinating lecture about life:
